The hip-hop producer met the British girl group - Keisha Buchanan, Heidi Range and Amelle Berrabah - last year, while he and Justin Timberlake worked on Madonna's new album, and Amelle revealed he is interested in collaborating with the band.

She said: "Timbaland is keen on us. He actually asked us to do stuff with him before.

"We ended up spending a lot of time with him and Justin last year because they were working on the Madonna album at the same studio as us. We'd have lunch and dinner together between recordings.

"They were great company - very funny. We couldn't get any Madonna gossip out of them, though. They were secretive about her new music."

Although the girls didn't manage to meet Madonna, Amelle says the star's 11-year-old daughter Lourdes would be a welcome addition to their group.

She added to Britain's Daily Star newspaper: "I had lunch with her daughter.

She is a real sweetie. I'll have to ask her to sing with us when we meet next time."

Timbaland makes a mobile album

Timbaland has decided to make the first mobile album in the world.As Timbaland's "Shock Value" goes upward for five Grammy Awards, the hit making rap manufacturer has announced a trade with Verizon Wireless to have the best "mobile album," which will be solely accessible to subscribers of V Cast, Verizon's mobile entertainment service. As Verizon's mobile manufacturer in mansion, Timbaland will develop one song per month throughout 2008. Each month, he will make with a different artist on a course while touring the nation on the Verizon Mobile Recording Studio Bus, which will too seize making-of footage for V Cast subscribers on a dedicated Timbaland line.

Each mobile Timbaland track will be released days after it is produced. Songs will be released as a full-length download, ringtone and ringback, and will be available only through V Cast and Verizon. At the end of the year, some sort of compilation "album" will be released exclusively through Verizon, according to Ruth. Whether the music is worked to radio during the exclusive period or made available via broader distribution afterward is up to Interscope.

Timbaland hasn't yet revealed what other artists he will be working with for the project, but Ruth says some of those on the party's guest list will be involved. That roster includes fellow Mosley Music act OneRepublic, Paramore, Flo Rida, Natasha Bedingfield, Taylor Swift and Chris Cornell, who will perform.

Super-producer Timbaland has stamped his indelible impression on the music picture since the mid-1990s. His output has helped produce career-defining hits for artists such as Jodeci, Aaliyah, Ginuwine, Missy Elliott, Destiny’s Child, Ludacris, Snoop Dogg and Jay-Z, among many others. Respected beyond the genres of urban and hip hop music, Timbaland, whose melodic influences traverse social lines, has too been sought by different superstars whose music similarly knows no boundaries, from pop superstar Justin Timberlake to avant-singer Bjork. Released April 3, 2007 is his second solo album, Timbaland Presents Shock Value. That disk follows his producing of the bulk of the tracks, including the #1 “SexyBack,” on Timberlake’s #1 charting, multiplatinum LoveSounds, which followed their job jointly on Timberlake’s past smash, Justified.

Born Timothy Z. Mosley in Norfolk, Virginia on March 10, 1972, Timbaland, then named by Jodeci member Devante Swing after the Timberland boot, has had many reincarnations--from disk jockey DJ Tiny Tim to half of the pelvis hop group Timbaland & Magoo; from membership in Devante Swing’s Swing Mob crowd known as Da Bassment to S. B. I. (Surrounded By Idiots), an output ensemble including Pharrell Williams, to being CEO of his own brand, Mosley Music Group.

Ginuwine’s strike unmarried “Pony” and introduction LP Ginuwine…the Bachelor, produced by Timbaland, introduced an unusual syncopated manner that defined the original rise of music in the ‘90s--R&B and pelvis hop mixed with an eclectic assortment of effects held jointly by complicated rhythmic snare beats. At the same moment, his partnership with higher school supporter Missy Elliott blossomed into a coupling that delivered Aaliyah’s dual platinum One In A Million and they became one of music’s almost productive output/songwriting teams. Naturally, Elliott looked to Timbaland to too determine her as an artist and their job jointly, tracks such as “The Rain,” propelled Elliott to leading stardom and crucial plaudit.

Timbaland’s hallmark audio has spawned numerous imitators—still he has ever remained the acknowledged originator. Not amazingly given his talents, he started an original brand in partnership with Interscope still as he delivered another three albums for Elliott, including 2005’s The Cookbook.
